Actually I had really low expectations for this movie but I generally like both Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds which is what convinced me to give it a chance. Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised. I usually like romantic comedies as long as they don't get TOO sappy and this is what I found with this movie. The comedy is mostly situational but in that it excels. You can see that Reynolds and Bullock are friends in real life as I don't think they could have pulled off the level of chemistry they had otherwise. Some of the funniest scenes are just the looks that they give to each other for one reason or another. You can almost read there minds and words at those moments would have been superfluous. Definitely a movie to see if you are in the mood for a light and funny movie.
