The Tale Of Despereaux

This movie was first released in December of 2008 but it took me till now to finally see it. What a over sight on my part I must say. The animation in this movie is on par with anything that Pixar or Dreamworks has released. The story line is captivating and heart warming and the characters are endearing. Voices include Matthew Broderick, Dustin Hoffman, and Sigourney Weaver. A great movie for children.. although some scenes might be too intense for younger viewers. Parents should use their discretion.

The International

I had high hopes for this movie, but I ended up leaving kind of disappointed. Not that the movie was bad necessarily. Just that it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The trailers all made it sound like a great conspiracy movie full of intrigue. Which it did have for most of the movie.. but then the ending left you feeling robbed as a pitch from "left field" came into resolve the situation. Another renter if you ask me.

Push

With Dakota Fanning and Chris Evans (Fantastic Four) this movie is a half way decent actioner that could have been WAY better. The problem being that the writers were too busy setting up the storyline that the movie left you feeling like there was more to come. Which from what I understand there is. The plan being that this be made into at least a trilogy. Again it wasn't horrible although I recommend people to rent this one.
